# Market Opportunity

The total cryptocurrency exchange volume is on track to reach $16 trillion in 2022, up more than 8-fold from 2020. And a future market opportunity of $220 trillion:

In July 2021, 34 crypto exchanges registered over $1 billion in volume over a 24-hour period, with another 66 transacting over $140 million in daily volume.

For the first time ever, users and member exchanges can enjoy the benefits and rewards derived from an aggregated cross exchange liquidity pool sourced from a multi-trillion-dollar ecosystem.

With FLUID building since 2019, we are positioned to capitalize on this huge market by charging fees on any transactions that the platform generates, which the exchanges would otherwise not have done.
